What does ForecastBooked do?
We watch the National Weather Service forecast for the ZIP codes your HVAC or plumbing shop serves. When a freeze, heat wave or bad storm is on the way, we build a marketing kit: an email, a text script, a Google Business Profile post and a social post. You check it, then send it to your own customers.
What sets off a kit?
First freeze: the first night this season at 32°F or colder, or an NWS Freeze Warning. Hard freeze: a low of 28°F or colder. Big heat: an NWS heat alert, or a heat index of 105°F or more. Storms: NWS watches and warnings for severe storms, tornadoes and winter storms, plus blizzard and ice storm warnings. Pro and Multi-location plans can change the trigger points.
How often do you check the forecast?
Every 3 hours for each ZIP. Kits help you plan ahead. They are not emergency alerts.
Where does the weather data come from?
Forecasts and alerts come from NOAA's National Weather Service (api.weather.gov). Our first-freeze city pages use NOAA's 1991-2020 climate normals. ForecastBooked is not part of NOAA or the NWS.
Do you send the messages for me?
No. You read the kit, change it if you want, and send it yourself to people who agreed to hear from you. We don't buy lists for you.
What does it cost?
Starter $19/month (1 service ZIP), Pro $39/month (up to 5 ZIPs), Multi-location $79/month (up to 20 ZIPs). Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You add a card at checkout. Pro and Multi-location kits add a 1080x1080 graphic.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Cancel any time in the Stripe billing portal, or email us. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Changed your mind after a charge? Email hello@forecastbooked.com within 7 days for a full refund. Refunds are done by hand, not automatic.
